Elan 36" Wall Standard For Surface Mount
The Elan 36" Wall Standard is manufactured from extruded aluminum with a precision channel that accepts the Elan Shelf Brackets. The decorative profile wall standard for surface mount applications has a 1 3/4" wide profile and flared sides make a dramatic vertical statement. The Elan Standard comes with drilled and countersunk holes to accept color matched mounting screws (No. 6 x 1 1/4" Philips flat head), which are included. When properly installed, screw heads are flush with the back of the channel allowing shelf brackets to be positioned at any point. The standard must be screwed into studs, blocking, or into wall anchors sized for No. 6 screws. Toggler Brand AF-6 wall anchors are recommended. Brackets should be mounted at least 6" from top of the standard to better distribute the load. Shelf brackets can be mounted at the very bottom of a standard. This product fits the The Elan Wall Standard System.
